Why did Koreans choose a “Korean traitor” as their president?

Yesterday, three major events occurred in the South Korean political arena:
First, the South Korean Congress did not pass the impeachment of Yoon Seok-youl;
Yesterday, the South Korean National Assembly held a plenary session to vote on the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-youl. Before the vote on the impeachment, the overwhelming majority of members of the ruling party of South Korea walked out to boycott the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-youl. In the end, 195 members participated in the voting of Yoon Seok-youl’s impeachment, but the number of members did not reach the required number, and the impeachment was not passed.

Subsequently, the plenary session of the National Assembly voted on the appointment of an independent prosecutor to investigate the truth behind the stock price manipulation case by the President’s wife, Kim Jianxi, and the related bill was not passed.

Second, President Yoon Seok-youl of the Republic of Korea made a speech to the people through live television, apologizing to the people for the temporary emergency martial law disturbance.
Yoon Seok-youl said that the emergency martial law order issued on the evening of the 3rd is a decision made by the President, who is the ultimate responsible person of the state affairs, out of urgent consideration. But this process has caused anxiety and inconvenience to the citizens, and we deeply apologize to all the frightened citizens. He stated that he will not avoid legal and political responsibility issues regarding this martial law, and there will be no second martial law.

Yoon Seok-youl said that for the future presidential term and political stability plan, he would entrust the ruling party, the National Power Party, with full authority, and the future national political operation would be jointly responsible by the ruling party and the government.

Third, the ruling National Power Party of South Korea will push Yoon Seok-youl to step down.

Han Dongxun, the leader of the ruling National Power Party of South Korea, said that President Yoon Seok-youl’s fate was fully entrusted to the National Power Party. Han Dongxun said that in order to minimize chaos, the National Power Party will orderly promote the resignation of President Yoon Seok-youl, and will consult with the Common Democratic Party in this process.

Do you see the connection between these three things?
Yes, Yoon Seok-youl and his own party reached a “deal”: Yoon Seok-youl handed over power to his own party, and then the National Power Party helped Yoon Seok-youl avoid impeachment and his daughter-in-law Jin Jianxi avoid independent investigation.
Why did Yoon Seok-youl’s party reach an agreement with Yoon Seok-youl?
According to a new South Korean public opinion survey, the support rate of President Yoon Seok-youl has dropped to 13%, a new low since he took office in May 2022.
From the perspective of various political parties, the ruling National Power Party has a support rate of 27%, while the largest opposition party, the Common Democratic Party, has a support rate of 37%. The difference in support rates between the two parties is 10 percentage points, which is the highest since Yoon Suk yeol took office.
When asked about suitable candidates for future South Korean leaders, 29% of respondents supported the leader of the Democratic Party, Lee Jae myung, and 11% supported the leader of the National Power Party, Han Dong hoon. In addition, the leader of the National Revolutionary Party, Cho Kuo, the mayor of Seoul, Oh Se hoon, the mayor of Daegu, Hong Joon pyo, and the governor of Gyeonggi Province, Kim Dong yeon, received support rates exceeding 3%.
Did everyone see the problem?
If Yoon Seok-youl is impeached, South Korea will hold a general election in advance, and the result of the general election must be that Lee Jae ming wins!
The ruling party, the National Power, naturally does not want to make a ‘wedding dress’ for Li Zaiming!
What should I do?
So, Yin Xiyue made a deal with her own political party: the ruling party blocked the impeachment case of the opposition party, and Yin Xiyue handed over power to her own party.
In short: if the ruling party also agrees to impeach Yoon Seok-youl, then Yoon Seok-youl will be impeached. If the president is impeached, an early election will soon be held, and based on the current support rate, the ruling party has no chance of winning. On the contrary, if the ruling party is given enough time, there will be a chance to “turn the tide” – let the president still sit in that position, then force the president to slowly abdicate, and gradually eliminate the negative effects Yoon Seok-youl has brought to his party, then the ruling party may have a chance, at least better than directly impeaching Yoon Seok-youl.

It is inevitable that Yoon Seok-youl will step down, but he was not impeached, but was “destroyed by the ruling party”.

Against this background, the Americans have begun to plan for Yoon Seok-youl to go into exile in Hawaii.

On December 6, the U.S. Capitol Hill published an article by Choi Seung Whan, a professor of Korean politics and international relations at the University of Illinois in Chicago, which mentioned that Yoon Seok-youl was very urgent to maintain his presidential position. As the head of the Central District Procuratorate of Seoul who personally sent former South Korean presidents Park Geun hye and Lee Myung bak to prison, Yoon Seok-youl should understand the situation of himself and his wife very well. Once they lose their power, there is a great probability that the couple will be sent to prison in order.

The article also states that there have been many recent examples of maintaining the presidency. For example, Ukrainian President Zelensky and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu have both maintained their positions during the war, and as long as the wheels of war continue, there is no sign of a replacement for the time being. So desperate Yoon Seok-youl is likely to refer to the practices of the above two people and launch a geopolitical conflict.

“If so, it is not difficult to operate”. According to the article, Yoon Seok-youl may disguise the UAV as a North Korean UAV, and then fly into the South Korean air defense identification zone in Seoul. At this point, he will order the shooting down of these drones and claim that Seoul is facing an imminent threat from the north, thus launching a preemptive strike against Pyongyang and causing an escalation of the situation in East Asia. This idea is not groundless, because Yoon Seok-youl has been insisting on pre emptive strikes against the DPRK for many times since he took office.

At that time, the United States will inevitably be involved in a new conflict, which will also leave the US military struggling. Therefore, the author of the article appeals to US President Joe Biden and President elect Trump: “Yoon Seok-youl should be exiled to Hawaii before he may cause irreversible conflict on the Korean Peninsula.”

This is what happened in the South Korean political arena yesterday.
Some people have questions: Yoon Seok-youl is obviously a “Korean traitor”. Why did the Korean people elect him as president at the beginning? Why should Yoon Seok-youl be extremely pro American, even pro Japanese?
For any country, the primary problem is of course the domestic problem. During Moon Jae-in’s term of office, the epidemic happened, which led to a very poor economic situation in South Korea. So people are dissatisfied with Moon Jae-in’s party.
In addition, Moon Jae-in’s attempt to liquidate the “pro Japanese” forces triggered a rebound in Japan, which launched a trade war against South Korea, leading to further deterioration of South Korea’s economy. All these put Moon Jae-in and Li Zaimeng in a very disadvantageous position.
Yoon Seok-youl seized on Lee Jae ming’s weakness and won the support of the South Korean chaebol.
South Korea is actually a colony of the United States, and in colonial countries, the big conglomerates naturally stand on the side of the United States – South Korea’s big conglomerates have intricate connections with the United States and Japan, and their power is very strong.
There are five major financial conglomerates in South Korea, namely Samsung, LG, SK, Lotte, and Hyundai. Their sales have consistently accounted for over half of the country’s gross domestic product, and in 2012, they even surpassed the 70% mark.

During Moon Jae-in’s term of office, he severely attacked the chaebol, which inevitably made the chaebol quite dissatisfied.

In addition, Moon Jae-in’s extreme anti Japanese attitude led to Japan’s retaliation, which led to Japan launching a trade war against South Korea, which also caused great losses to the South Korean chaebol. On August 7, 2019, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan issued a decree to delete South Korea from the “white list” of trade objects that simplified export approval procedures.

Now you know why Yoon Seok-youl is “pro Japanese”?
Because he wants to gain the support of the tycoons!
After taking office, Yoon Seok yeol continuously made pro Japanese remarks, and finally in March 2023, Japan lifted its export restrictions on key industrial raw materials to South Korea.
If only supported by the chaebol, it is not enough to make Yoon Seok-youl the president. There are other reasons. The most important one is that Yoon Seok-youl is extremely anti feminist.
Others dig a hole for 100 yuan, but I want my boss to give me 200 yuan. Do you think the boss will be happy? Will others be happy?
Influenced by the ideology of European women’s rights, all women’s rights in the world are not about equality, but about privilege.
Women should have the same rights as men to education, work, and participate in political power. Women should have the right not to be subjected to domestic violence, which is called “equality”.
However, under the influence of Europe and America, women’s rights in South Korea have become demonized. What they want is not equality but privilege: a man digging a hole costs 100 yuan, while a woman digging a hole costs 200 yuan.
Like some women in China, Korean men who want to marry themselves must have a house and a car, while women can be penniless; Women are not good at politics, but they want more political power
South Korean feminist ideology is extremely serious, resulting in a collective “mess” of South Korean men – for men, the most important reason for getting married is to solve their physiological needs. If the cost of getting married is too high, they would rather go to prostitution than choose to get married.
The feminist ideology in South Korea is too serious. The cost of solving physiological needs through marriage is too high, and young Koreans cannot afford it. Therefore, young Koreans collectively choose to engage in prostitution instead of getting married.
According to media reports, the proportion of young people in South Korea who engage in prostitution is relatively high, especially in the age group of 20 to 29 years old. According to official data released by South Korea in 2018, 75% of the 50000 surveyed South Korean men had a history of prostitution, with 28% of them maintaining a frequency of once every three days. In addition, three out of every five males have had the experience of soliciting prostitution, averaging four times a month.
South Korea has also become a ‘kingdom of pornography’ as a result.
To be fair and objective, overall, women’s earning ability is worse than men’s. Men are no longer “licking dogs”, no longer pursuing women, and no longer spending money on them. Many women’s lives suddenly become difficult.
Men dig a hole for only 100 yuan, while some women dig a hole for 200 yuan, resulting in three consequences:
Firstly, men are very dissatisfied. Why am I a man digging a hole for only 100 yuan, while a woman digging a hole can get 200 yuan. Are you weak? Do you still have reason?
Secondly, the boss is also very dissatisfied. If you dig a hole, I’ll give you 100 yuan. I can earn 10 yuan myself, but women want 200 yuan. Not only do I not make money, but I also lose money. Since that’s the case, I can only refuse to hire women.
Thirdly, many women are also very dissatisfied. My life is quite difficult, I need work, and I don’t want privileges. I just want to do the same job as men and get the same pay, but those women’s rights have caused me to lose my job.
Young people in South Korea collectively engage in prostitution rather than dating or getting married, which has led many women to oppose feminism and ultimately led to extreme anti feminism in society.
However, Moon Jae-in and Lee Zaiying supported women’s rights, so they were abandoned by young people in South Korea. When Moon Jae-in ran for president, he promised to let women ministers account for 30% of his term of office.

During Moon Jae-in’s period, in order to obtain women’s votes, he supported women’s rights. However, in the following five years, the political ecology of South Korea changed dramatically. Moon Jae-in’s forces did not find such changes, which enabled Yoon Seok-youl to seize the opportunity.
Because Korean society is extremely anti women’s rights, Yoon Seok-youl not only said many times that there is a problem with women’s rights in South Korea during the presidential election, but also proposed to abolish the “Women’s Family Department” (the department promoting women’s rights in South Korea).
At that time, the world’s media attacked Yoon Seok-youl in various ways: France24 called Yoon Seok-youl, the new President of South Korea, “a believer in anti feminist policies”; BBC says’ misogyny is at the core of South Korea’s presidential election ‘; Vice straightforwardly stated that the new South Korean president completely rejects feminism
However, many people did not expect that Yoon Seok-youl’s anti feminism was supported by a large number of young people, including women. After Yoon Seok-youl was elected president, many foreign media believed that the reason why Yoon Seok-youl could break the tradition of the left and right parties taking turns in power for 10 years and was elected by a narrow margin was because he firmly opposed feminism.

At this point, you may understand why Yoon Seok-youl was elected President of South Korea.
I think there are two main reasons:
First, Yoon Seok-youl has won the support of the South Korean chaebol;
Second, Yoon Seok-youl has won the support of anti feminist young people.
In addition, as we all know, Japan and South Korea are both colonies of the United States. The reason why the United States can control Japan and South Korea is not only because their financial conglomerates are controlled by the United States, but also because the United States controls these two important departments – the Tokyo Special Investigation Department of Japan and the prosecutor of South Korea.
The relationship between South Korean prosecutors and the United States is mainly reflected in the profound influence of the United States on the South Korean prosecution system. The great power of South Korean prosecutors can be partially traced back to the influence of the United States in South Korea. At the beginning of his tenure in South Korea, American five-star general MacArthur established a prosecutorial system to ensure that South Korean prosecutors had significant power, which even made the South Korean president feel intimidated.
What did Yin Xiyue do before being elected president?
Exactly the prosecutor!
Yoon Seok yeol has been serving as a prosecutor in the prosecutor’s office since 1994. In May 2017, she was appointed as the Prosecutor General of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office, and in June 2019, she was nominated as the Prosecutor General of South Korea.
So, you should understand why Yoon Seok-youl is so “licking the United States” – as a person of the inspection system, he naturally knows the great influence of the United States on South Korea, and he naively believes that as long as he firmly stands on the side of the United States, the Americans will keep him.
With the support of the United States and Japan, coupled with accurately grasping the major political change of “anti women’s rights” in Korean society, Yoon Seok-youl finally defeated Lee Jae ming with a weak advantage.
Yoon Seok-youl won the presidency by relying on the interference of external forces and “opportunism”. He did not put the interests of his own country and nation first, so he will certainly have a bad end in the end.
As the saying goes, anyone who betrays the interests of their country and nation, no matter how glorious they are, will inevitably have a bad ending in the end.
