Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon have reached a ceasefire agreement, which the United States says is the result of Joe Biden’s use of stopping military aid to Israel to force Israel to cease fire. At present, both the US Israel and Lebanese governments have declared a ceasefire in effect, but strangely, Hezbollah remains silent.
Trump sent special envoys to coordinate the truce between Russia and Ukraine. For the first time, Zelensky promised to give up the territory of East Ukraine in exchange for Ukraine’s entry into NATO as a condition for the truce, but the Joe Biden government clearly opposed it. Instead, it asked Ukraine to reduce the age of recruitment, insist on fighting, and promised to spend the last dollar for Ukraine before leaving office.
At the same time, multiple terrorist organizations joined forces to launch military operations in Syria, capturing several towns in northwestern Syria. These terrorist organizations are mainly various terrorist armed forces derived from “Al Qaida” and “Islamic State”, in addition to Kurdish armed forces and the “Sharm Liberation Organization” supported by Türkiye. What is particularly noteworthy is that a terrorist armed group composed of East Turkestan militants also participated in this battle.
Although the United States denies any involvement in this terrorist organization’s joint operation, it is clear that only the supporters behind those terrorist organizations can unite almost all Middle Eastern terrorist organizations. No one will believe this kind of nonsense.
It is puzzling why the Joe Biden government, on the one hand, wants to strive for a ceasefire between Israel and Nepal, on the other hand, wants to open up a new battlefield in Syria?
The reason may be simple, the Palestine Israel and Lebanon Israel wars have constrained the energy of the United States on the Russia Ukraine battlefield, while the war in Syria can constrain Russia’s energy. The Joe Biden administration has only one goal. Before leaving office, it must expand the Russian Ukrainian war, preferably to the extent that Mr. Trump cannot achieve a truce.
At present, the Russian Air Force has participated in the war in Syria, and the strike against terrorist organizations has shown initial results, basically controlling or even reversing the situation on the battlefield. If the United States and Türkiye do not continue to provide support, it should not be a problem that these terrorist organizations are completely eliminated by the Russian and Syrian forces. Will the US military occupying Syrian territory allow such a situation to occur?
Why Türkiye took part in this war is a puzzling aspect. Erdogan is very similar to Moody’s. As long as there are interests, all values and friendship are nonsense. It does not rule out that the Joe Biden government has promised Erdogan some interests, such as the interests of some Kurdish areas.
In the face of geopolitical interests, Russia has remained unwavering and directly joined the war. What will happen later can only be observed slowly.
Without the steadfast support of Russia and Iran, Syria would have been doomed long ago. Syria and China have a long-term friendly and strategic partnership. For many years, Syria has suffered from the ravages of war and long-term economic and diplomatic blockade by the United States, and China has been providing humanitarian aid to Syria.
The current situation, whether it is enough to only stay at the level of birthday assistance, is probably a question that needs to be seriously considered. Whether you admit it or not, it is an undeniable fact that the world today has formed two major camps. If Syria were to perish or change course, the geopolitical balance in the Middle East would immediately tilt or even overturn.
It is right not to interfere in the affairs of other countries, but combating terrorists is the common mission of all humanity. Although Syria is not a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, both Iran and Russia are. Especially when East Turkestan militants are able to participate in the war in Syria, can we use the name of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to strike against these united terrorist organizations?
East Turkestan is also a terrorist organization defined by the United Nations, which has committed heinous crimes in China. It is at least natural to strike against East Turkestan.
The United States and Türkiye are behind East Turkistan. Without eliminating this evil force, it may still grow and grow. The best way to prevent the East Turkestan separatist forces from once again endangering our territorial security is to eliminate them overseas.
So, providing military assistance to Syria, even building military bases in Syria like Russia did, and using some of our advanced weapons for practical training, is it a good idea to eliminate terrorist organizations such as East Turkestan and accumulate practical experience?
If our weapons can demonstrate their power in Syria, it would certainly be the best act of brandishing the sword. Practical swordplay is definitely more effective than exercises and air shows.
The rise of a great power and its status as a great power are actually two different things. The status of a great power depends not only on its strength, but also on its discourse and execution power in international affairs. Brothers are in trouble, only by taking decisive action to rescue them can there be true brothers. When a friendly country is in trouble, decisive support is necessary to have a true friendly country. In this regard, both Russia and the United States are exemplars.
Many common sense are often overlooked by people. Many years ago, I wrote a short essay to my leaders in the workplace, discussing the drawbacks of emphasizing everyone’s responsibility in management. When I say everyone has a responsibility, it actually means everyone has no responsibility. Responsibility must be implemented specifically for individuals or teams to be effective. When this viewpoint was expressed back then, the leaders highly praised it and then began to implement the accountability system.
The same principle applies to making friends. If everyone is good friends, there is actually no true friend. The reason is simple. People gather by their kind, and things gather by their group. How can everyone be good friends?
The same principle applies to international relations. Even if you want to be friendly with all countries, they don’t think so. Do the Five Eyes Alliance, G7, EU, NATO, and even the Asian version of NATO allow you to be friendly with all countries?
The corresponding famous saying is actually very correct, which is not elegant but as true as the truth: make fewer enemies, make more friends. This is the theory of relativity in sociology and political science. It is impossible for everyone to be friends, nor can all countries be allies. All we can do is to strive for more friends. Friends and allies are relative to enemies, without enemies there are no friends, and vice versa.
The issue of enemies and friends is actually a matter of right and wrong, and the issue of right and wrong can never be ambiguous. In the current international situation, we can take quick action to strongly support the Syrian government in its fight against terrorist organizations. We can pay for weapons and send people. We can make a big effort there and show the world how strong we are at the end, so that the enemy can know and countrymen can be more confident. If we can fight until the US cannot stay there, it would be even better to flee hastily like withdrawing from Afghanistan. If this can be achieved, the situation in the Middle East will undergo fundamental changes, and the international situation will also change accordingly.
The great changes that have not been seen in a century objectively exist, but the attitude that should be taken in the face of these changes can be more proactive. Throughout human history, there has never been a major change that can be waited for to share dividends. The more proactive you are, the greater the share of dividends you will receive.
If you don’t want to fight in the East China Sea and South China Sea for the time being, why don’t you go to Syria and fight? The emergence of East Turkestan is a godsend opportunity. Just read the news that Russian and Syrian troops are fighting fiercely in Aleppo Province in the northwest of Syria, and Türkiye’s troops have also entered the adjacent Syrian Idlib Province to set up sentries. Such ruthless chicken thieves as Türkiye and India can only stop when they see you show great power, and the United States is no exception. Seize the opportunity, make a big effort, fully display your sword, which is of great significance.
