On the second day of the Korean incident, there were new developments

For Koreans, December 3 was definitely a sleepless night.
Yin Xiyue exploded and declared a nationwide emergency martial law late at night, shocking the world. Unexpectedly, three hours later, South Korean lawmakers voted 190:0 and martial law was vetoed.
From the announcement of martial law by Yin Xiyue to its eventual cancellation, the total time was only 6 hours. This has also become the biggest political joke in South Korea since entering the 21st century.
The situation is still developing, and the next day, there was a new situation.

  1. There have been new setbacks in the impeachment proceedings.
The opposition party naturally refuses to give up.
The largest joint democratic party has made it clear that Yoon Suk yeol must step down immediately because his emergency martial law order is unconstitutional; If Yin Xiyue does not resign, the impeachment process will be pushed forward.
At 2:40 pm on December 4th, the six major opposition parties jointly submitted a motion to impeach Yoon Suk yeol. According to the schedule, the report will be officially submitted on December 5th, and a vote will be held from the 6th to the 7th.
The South Korean National Assembly has a total of 300 seats, with 192 members from six opposition parties, but the threshold for impeachment is 200 votes in favor.
That is to say, in order to successfully impeach Yin Xiyue, someone from the ruling party must defect.
The ruling party is also very dissatisfied with Yin Xiyue.
When Yin Xiyue suddenly issued a martial law order, the leader of the ruling party, Han Dongxun, said that “emergency martial law” was wrong and stated that “we will stop it together with the people”.
In fact, out of the 190 votes to abolish martial law at that time, more than 10 votes came from Han Dongxun and others. At a critical moment, the opposition party and the ruling party put aside their past grievances, shook hands and made peace, unanimously recognizing that the martial law order of Yoon Seok yeol was invalid.
But when it comes to impeaching Yin Xiyue, the ruling party seems to have another plan.
According to the disclosure by Yonhap News Agency, many members of the ruling party oppose impeachment.
Han Dongxun also acknowledged that the ruling members of the National Power Party agreed to dissolve the cabinet and dismiss the Minister of National Defense, but many disagreed with the demand for Yoon Seok yeol to resign from the party and impeach Yoon Seok yeol.
That is to say, the impeachment war will be very anxious.
If the ruling party insists, there is still hope for Yin Xiyue to hold on; But if someone defected, Yin Xiyue would definitely fall.
What ideology? What principle? What rule of law?
Many times, it’s just a calculation of partisan interests.
  2. Yin Xiyue stayed indoors.
In a fit of anger, Chong Guan turned red, intending to eliminate the opposition’s constraints in one fell swoop; Who knew that drawing a tiger wouldn’t turn out to be a dog, and in the end, it fell into a pit on its own.
The high-ranking officials of the presidential palace around me have resigned one after another, and if they don’t resign again, it will bring disaster to themselves. Yin Xiyue’s biggest supporter, Defense Minister Jinlong Xian, also apologized to the people and submitted his resignation.
But waiting for him, there should still be an investigation into the crime of internal strife.
The current Yin Xiyue should be an ant on a hot pot. On the afternoon of December 4th, he summoned South Korean Prime Minister Han Deok soo and ruling party leader Han Dong hoon to the Presidential Palace to discuss countermeasures.
    What are we discussing?
It cannot be ruled out that it is how to deal with impeachment, how to reverse unfavorable situations, and how to get out of the current predicament.
I don’t know the specific situation, but one thing is certain, Yin Xiyue will definitely be criticized and scolded for being a heartless individual.
As a proud president of a country, he impulsively launched a self coup, but in the end, he ended up like a tiger headed snake. This is irresponsible to the country, irresponsible to the political party, and in fact, irresponsible to himself and his wife.
But this president happened to do it.
  3. There are risks hidden in the calm of the peninsula.
Don’t forget, one reason why Yin Xiyue issued an emergency martial law order was to eradicate the “northern forces” and maintain the “free constitutional order”.
The so-called ‘from the north’ refers to accusing the opposition party of being pro northern.
For the farce in South Korea, the north still maintains silence.
But the South Korean military is taking various actions.
On December 4th, the Chairman of the South Korean Joint Staff Headquarters, Kim Myung soo, presided over an emergency operational command meeting, emphasizing that the South Korean military should “maintain operational discipline, focus on monitoring and alert operations against North Korea,” and prevent North Korea from misjudging.
The situation on the peninsula is highly sensitive, which brings two issues.
The first question is whether the North will take action during the internal turmoil in South Korea.
Anyway, Koreans are very nervous and worried about this.
The second question is whether Yin Xiyue, who is trapped in a fierce battle, will provoke and stimulate the north.
Don’t forget, the post-80s generation in the north is not a tolerant personality.
The internal turmoil in South Korea will inevitably affect the situation on the Korean Peninsula and even the entire Northeast Asia.
It depends on how much energy Yin Xiyue currently has, and whether the United States can restrain Yin Xiyue.

But one thing is certain, even if Yin Xiyue can endure a few more days, his political life is basically over, and he can avoid the first year but not the fifteenth.
His final choices are nothing more than a few: either resign, be impeached, or end his own life like Roh Moo hyun. As long as he is still alive, there is a high probability that he will be liquidated and both he and his wife Jin Jianxi may be imprisoned.
Don’t forget, the Blue House Curse!
The world knows that the most dangerous profession in South Korea is being the president.
In any case, except for Moon Jae-in, none of the successive South Korean presidents has ever been able to die well, go to prison, go into exile, commit suicide
Yoon Seok yeol once sent Park Geun hye to prison, but now he will definitely walk into prison, and the situation will even be worse.
A president, despite the lack of support from the ruling party, parliament, military, and both domestic and international parties, staged a self coup that lasted for only six hours, which is truly laughable.
Oh, in March of this year, the United States also awarded Yin Xiyue the “Kennedy Courage Award”.
Is it really the power of love? Or is it overestimating one’s own energy?
Let’s watch Korean dramas in the future. No wonder Korean dramas are always exciting, because the reality in Korea is even more exciting!
