Upgrading or Mining

Whether to ‘upgrade’ or ‘mine’ is a question worth considering.

Master players who enjoy playing RTS games such as Starcraft and Warcraft often have to choose between “upgrading” and “mining” at the timing point.

Simply put,

‘Upgrading’ means investing resources in advancing technology, at the cost of a period of weakness, in exchange for future technological leadership.

Mining “means spending resources on expansion, maintaining a large-scale army to plunder more resources, and creating a snowball effect.

You Chinese server experts who are proficient in gaming can tell at a glance that,

Joe Biden’s previous globalization was a snowball of “mining”,

Donald Trump’s shift to isolationism is to “upgrade” to science and technology,

The accelerationism of Silicon Valley and Musk is to directly upgrade costs without building troops.

As for the expulsion of refugees and DOGE layoffs, it is a process of “cost escalation” that sacrifices a portion of the population to keep the “population” within 50, in order to improve the efficiency of “mining” and raise more resources to accelerate the “cost escalation”.

The process of upgrading is very dangerous. Donald Trump needs to “seek peace with strength”. Through complex psychological offensives and diplomatic manoeuvring, his opponents will not dare to take on Ta Rush on a large scale.

Once the dangerous moment is overcome and the upgrade is completed, a large number of high combat power “second tier” new technologies will emerge, such as:

The mortar team of ultra long range rockets,

Unmanned Dragon Eagle Travel,

Medical pastor of brain computer chip therapy,

AI disruptor controlling humanoid machines

The propeller driven unmanned aerial vehicle that dominates the air

Highly skilled gamers understand that whoever develops the “second tier” technology first can dominate their opponents.

Therefore, in order to “accelerate cost increases”, Trump/Musk will not engage in a hot war after taking office. They will only strategically shrink Doge resources to “increase costs” while striking at their opponents’ economies through measures such as tariffs and sanctions to slow down their cost increases.

With the “accelerated cost increase” of the United States, it means that China can no longer continue the “mining” and capacity explosion of the Joe Biden era.

We can only be forced to turn to “upgrading” explosive technology, giving birth to various new quality productive forces, in order to maintain the same level of technological progress as accelerating the United States and not fall behind in the great game between China and the United States.
